Why are my headset lenses fogging up?

If the lenses of your headset frequently become foggy, try these solutions to fix the problem:

  1. Warm up the headset before use: In cold environments, the temperature difference between the outside air and the learner's face can be large, causing the lenses to fog up. To avoid this problem in cold environments, learners should place the headset on their head (but not over their eyes) for several minutes to warm it up before using it.

  2. Use synthetic sprays or wet wipes: wiping the lenses can prevent them from fogging. Start from the center of the lens and gently wipe the lens in a circular motion moving outwards.

NOTE: because headset lenses are plastic, you should not use wipes that contain alcohol or chemicals. Please use at your own risk.
