The merging feature lets users upload multiple video clips at a time with the purpose of combining them into a single video. When selecting which clips to upload and combine, users will also have the option to trim each clip by removing some time from either the start or end of the clip.
To get started, click the "New" button in WorkWise and then select "Upload new procedure".
The upload modal will pop up which will allow you to select one or more video files that you want to upload.
From here, you can either drag-and-drop one or more files, or click the "Browse files" button to bring up a system window to select files.
Once one or more files are selected, you will be taken to a new screen.
From this screen, you can re-arrange your selected clips so that they are in the correct order. The files you select will be merged into a single video from which your procedure will be generated, so it's important that they are in the correct order.
To re-arrange the clips, drag-and-drop them in the list.
There is a preview window on the right of the screen that allows you to see the clips play in the designated order, so you can be sure they are sequenced correctly before processing begins.
Optionally, you can also trim the individual clips by clicking on the scissors icon.
Once you click the scissors icon, you can drag a slider on either end of the video to cut out time from the beginning or the end of the clip.
Once you hit save, you will return to the previous screen.
From here, you can either add additional clips by selecting the "Add media" button and you can also delete clips by selecting the trash can icon for the individual clip.
Once you have put your clips in the correct order and applied any trimming, select the "Next" button.
From here, enter a title for your procedure, select the video language, and optionally, enter a description.
Select "Upload" to finish the process. Once uploaded successfully, your video will be merged together and the processing step will kick off to generate the rest of the procedure.
